A little more about
my everyday role

What I love most about my job

I enjoy the work-life balance. The team I work with are great, and I love seeing my designs going from concept to drawing to reality with a final working product.

The best bits about working in a team

The team is based all over the UK, which makes you feel like part of a big family. You can lean on them, and it's nice to have that support.

The most exciting thing I’ve achieved so far in my job

I was really pleased to be recognised as the Air Conditioning & Refrigeration ACR Trainee of the Year - it was rewarding to be recognised for all my hard work during my apprenticeship.

The next steps in my career journey

Having finished my Higher National Diploma in Building Services Engineering, I have started a degree. This is all part of my professional career development route, and I'm lucky that my company put me forward for it. I'm enjoying it, and it's something I never saw myself doing.

I hope to become a member of the technical team, a Regional Manager, or a Director or move to be a Consultant. Those would be the three paths I would like to consider, but I’m not fixed on any particular one at the moment.
